Riverside Robot Rumble

We will be hosting a MRCA qualifying combat robot competition at the Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Riverside, IL. The competition will include 1 lb (antweight) weight class going head-to-head in an enclosed 4’ x 4’ arena.

Tournament Format: The antweight brackets will be a modified Swiss tournament going down to single elimination.

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 28 antweight (1 lbs) bots with a limit of 2 antweight bots per driver. Registration opens March 7th at 10:00AM CST

Date: May 4, 2024 

Location: Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church [60 Akenside Rd, Riverside, IL 60546]

Venue: Has plenty of space for pits (tables & chairs are provided) please bring an extension cord. There will be a couple of TVs to view the fights.

Prizes:

• First Place $50 gift card to Robot Smashing League’s Store

• Second Place $25 gift card to Robot Smashing League’s Store

• Third Place $10 gift card to Robot Smashing League’s Store

Food: TBD

Arena: 4’ x 4’, Wood Floor, No hazards 

Rough Schedule:

• 8:00am – Doors Open

• 9:00am – Safety Opens

• 10:00am – Doors Open for Spectators and fights begin

Entry Fee: $30 per bot

Ruleset: This event will follow MRCA rules

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend and doors open at 10am. Everyone is strongly encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the local food pantry.
