Attack of the Ants at the House of Havoc (C.A.R.L.)

The Connecticut Antweight Robotics League is more than happy to have our very first kick off event in NHRL’s House of Havoc! This event will consist of Full Combat Antweight, Plastic Antweight, and Fairyweight divisions. This event will be the largest Antweight Combat Robotics competition in the world.

FC ant and PLAnt:

44 bot double elimination bracket

Fairy:

32 bot double elimination bracket

Venue:

NHRL’s House of Havoc

Please do not park in the front parking area on event day as it is only for volunteers.

Schedule:

6:00 AM - Doors Open and Inspections Opens

8:30 AM - Drivers Meeting

9:00 AM - Matches Start

12:30 PM - Lunch Break

1:00 PM - Matches Resume

5:30 PM to 6:00 PM - Award Ceremony

Awards:

Per bracket:

1st place - $50 Just Cuz’ Robotics Gift Card, a $15 dollar coupon for PCBWay orders that are $30 dollars or more, and an invitation to the 2026-2027 season C.A.R.L. Championship event.

2nd place - $40 Just Cuz’ Robotics Gift Card, a $15 dollar coupon for PCBWay orders that are $30 dollars or more, and an invitation to the 2026-2027 season C.A.R.L. Championship event.

3rd place - $30 Just Cuz’ Robotics Gift Card, a $15 dollar coupon for PCBWay orders that are $30 dollars or more, and an invitation to the 2026-2027 season C.A.R.L. Championship event.

Fun awards:

Best Costume - $25 Amazon Gift Card

Best Themed Robot - Free Registration to one C.A.R.L. event and a $10 Amazon Gift Card

Spectators:

There is no fee for spectators and spectators seating is available in the stands and the spectator lounge. Spectators are also allowed to drive 

Costumes:

As in the Halloween Spirit we are encouraging everyone attending the event to dress up in any Halloween costume they so wish but to also make their robot Halloween themed for the season. Candy will also be given out to all competitors.

Food:

Concessions will be sold at the competition along with food trucks for lunch in the food truck loop.

Entry Fee:

$30 per bot, can be paid online or in person, due on event day.

Extras:

Anyone is allowed to bring any robot up to 12lbs to drive around in the spare arenas for free (not compete) on event day, prior to bringing your robot however please email info@connecticutantweightroboticsleague.com that you are bringing the bot so we are aware.
