Chomp City Combat - Spook Clash (University Only)

🎃 Join us for our first open Chomp City Combat Event of Fall 2026! 🎃

This event will be Halloween themed and is a great event for newer competitors or robots as we will be using a Swiss style bracket. All competitors will play 4 matches regardless of your win loss ratio!

We will be hosting 1lb PLANT weight robots

• Date: Saturday October 17th, 2026
• Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
• Location: San Francisco State University - 1600 Holloway Avenue, San Francisco, California 94080
• Room: Humanities Building Room 125 (Innovation Hub) and Humanities Courtyard

If you plan to come to our event as either a competitor or a spectator please fill out this RSVP form.

At the moment, out event is only open to competing university teams. Non university spectators may attend but not compete.

Event Schedule

• 10:00 am - Doors Open
• 10:30 am - Bot Inspection Begins
• 11:00 am - Competition Begins
• 1:45 pm (or when competiton ends) - Prize Ceremony

Competition Bracket

• 18 competitors
• Swiss style bracket
• 1st round opponents are randomized
• 2nd-4th round opponents are based on win-loss ratio

• The competitors with the top win-loss ratios will get small prizes.

We encourage you to make your robots Halloween themed to match the event theme.
