Minnesota Monster Mash October 28

Minnesota Monster Mash will be the combat robot competition hosted by Robot Smashing League. We will be in the American Legion in Lonsdale, MN. We will have both 1 lb (antweight) and 3 lb (beetleweight) robots going head-to-head in an enclosed 8’ x 8’ arena.

The antweight and beetleweight brackets will be a modified Swiss tournament going down to single elimination for the top 4 robots.  There will be 4 rounds in the Swiss portion of the tournament.

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 32 antweight (1 lbs) bots and 16 beetleweight (3 lbs) bots, with a limit of 2 antweight bots and 1 beetleweight bot per driver.

Location: Lonsdale American Legion Post 586 [115 2nd Ave NW, Lonsdale, MN 55046]

Venue: Has plenty of space for pits (tables & chairs are provided) please bring an extension cord. Additional TVs will be set up to view the fights.

Food: Pizzeria201 will have a limited menu, so feel free to order food while at the event.

Rough Schedule:

• 10:00am – Doors Open & Safety Opens
• 11:00am – Doors Open for Spectators & Fights Start
• 4:00pm – Final 4 - Single Elimination Starts

Entry Fee: $25 per bot

Ruleset: This event will follow MRCA rules

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend and doors open at 11am.
