General Info:

Weightclass: 1lb antweight and plastic antweight

Location: 290 American River Canyon Dr, Folsom, CA 95630

Start Time: 10:00 AM PST

End Time: 4:45 PM PST

Entry Free: $10 per team and $3 for Plastic Ants or $5 for Ants (In person payment on the day of the event)

What To Bring:

• Power strip, weapon lock, and safety goggles
• Basic materials and tools will be provided to repair your robot
• Event is hosted in a park, and electricity will be supplied
• Nothing! If you are new to Combat Robotics and want to learn more, this is a great way to get involved!

Event Details:

• SPARC rule set will be enforced
• The antweight division will receive a 1st and 2nd place award for the top two ranked robots
• The plastic antweight division will receive a 1st and 2nd place award for the top two ranked robots
• The award for all weight classes is "Most Destructive"
• All award winners receive an engraved acrylic trophy
• Regular antweight will run double-elimination
• Plastic antweight will run double-elimination
• Teams who still want to fight after all matches are over will be allowed to participate in grudge matches if there is extra time
• Pizza($3 per slice), Burgers($5 dollars per piece), and Hot Chocolate($1.50 per cup) will be sold at the event

Arena Info:

• The arena is 4ft x 4ft x 2ft
• Walls are 0.25″ polycarbonate 24″x48″
• Steel floor
• 2″ x 1/8″ x 24″ steel angle corner pieces
• Top pivot access(no door to obstruct view)
• Lights are installed in the arena

Schedule:

• There will be a 10-20 minute repairing period between each fight. This period can be extended once for a few extra minutes by a driver for themselves during the event.
