Riverlands Brews and Bots Brawls MRCA QUALIFIER

We will be in the Riverlands Brewing Company Brewery in Saint Charles Illinois. We will have 1 lb (antweight) and 3lb (Beetleweight) robots going head-to-head in an enclosed 8’ x 8’ arena.

The bracket will be a 4 round Swiss tournament with a potential 2nd place tie breaker match.

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 16 antweight (1 lbs) bots and 16 Beetleweight slots, with a limit of 2 robots per driver. Because of the Alcohol being served underage competitors must be accompanied by an adult.

Date: July 27, 2024

Location: Riverlands Brewing Company 1860 Dean Street Unit A St. Charles, IL 60174

Venue: Pits will be either outside or in back depending on weather please bring a table, extension cord and dress for the weather. We will be tapping into the brewery's TVs for audience viewing.

Food: A food truck will be provided, so feel free to order food while at the event. Drinks: Alcohol is being served at the brewery, please drink responsibly. Check out their current Tap List 

Arena: 8’ x 8’, Steel floor, Surprise hazards, no magnet downforce allowed per MRCA rules.

Rough Schedule:

• 9:30am – Doors Open & Safety Opens

• 11:30am – Fights begin

• 12:00pm – Doors Open for Spectators

• 5pm –  Event finished

Entry Fee: $35 per bot

Ruleset: This event will follow MRCA rules

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend and doors open at 12pm.
