PART PLANT PALOOZA

We will be running our first official open event at the Placer Robotics Center in the new Insect area.

This is meant to be a low stress and casual event.  We will be limiting and enforcing one robot per builder. 

Address: 643 Vernon Street, Roseville, CA.   Parking available at the near by Vernon Street Parking garage.

The event is indoors - plenty of pit space, spectating viewing may be limited.

All are welcome to spectate, and the event is all ages. 

The field will be max of 16 robots.  The current limit is 8 as we await new local builders to get their robots setup in RCE.
Update: We may be able to add a few more robots to the event.  Please add your bot to the wait list and we will confirm by August 14. 

Rough Schedule:

• 9:00 - Doors Open
• 9:45 - Check in and Inspection Closes
• 9:50 - Drivers Meeting
• 10:00 - 3:00pm Fights

Things to Bring:

• eye protection
• ear protection
• Power strip, extension cords

Attendees:

• Please pay for your registration through RCE at the time of registration.  Unpaid entries will be moved to the waitlist
• Under 18 must be accompanied by parents or guardians
• Waivers are required to participate and spectate inside!  We will email builders the online form or you can sign a waiver at the door
• anyone welcome to attend
• Competitors must register before the event to ensure competition slots
  • Please check with event organizers for unique or unusual designs and their application to the linked rulesets
  • please read the rules as they have been slightly modified from original sparc ruleset as sparc had guidelined for modified rulesets
  • The event will use modified double elimination format
