North Dakota Signature

The North Dakota Signature will cohenside with a VEX Robotics Tournament. It will be an exciting day filled with robots. The competition will include 1 lb (antweight) and 3 lb (beetleweight) weight classes going head-to-head in an enclosed 8’ x 8’ arena.

Tournament Format: Group Stage where 3-1 and better records move into Single Elimination

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 20 antweight (1 lbs) bots and 20 beetleweight (3 lbs) bots, with a limit of 2 bots per weight class per driver. 

Sign up starts September 26th at 10:00AM CST

Date: November 2, 2024

Location: Alerus Center [1200 S. 42nd Street Grand Forks, ND 58201]

Venue: Has plenty of space for pits (tables & chairs are provided). There will be a couple of TVs to view the fights.

Food: No outside food/beverages permitted, though there will be concessions onsite

Arena: 8’ x 8’, TBD on floor type

Rough Schedule:

• 7:00am – Doors Open
• 8:00am – Safety Opens
• 9:30am – Fights begin
• 5:00pm - Fights completed

Entry Fee: $30 per bot

Ruleset: This event will follow SPARC rules. 

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend and doors open at 7am.
