West Coast Combat Robotic League April Event

We have opened up a new area in the venue! it is a seperate sealed off room where all the machining equipiment goes. We also offer 3d printing services on our new QIDI PLUS 4. If you need a part printed we will be happy to do it for you! Just ask! 

ARENA INFO:

Both arenas are 4ft x 4ft x 2ft tall with air evacuation systems. 

1 arena is a true STEEL floor! 1/4" thick as well as the side skirts! 

1 arena is wood floor with traction paint. (Eventually it will be steel as well) 

You can choose which surface you prefer!

GENERAL INFO:

Ice cold water bottles and sodas are provided for free! Help yourself!

A lunch time will be alotted.  Either 30 minutes or an hour. Depends how quickly fights are going and what everyone prefers to do. 

RULESET:

SPARC ruleset will be followed.

Double elimination.

We will be running both arenas simultaniously.

Combat Ant fee is $20

Plastic Ant fee is $20

150G Fairy Weight: $10

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Gates and building open at 7am.

Saftey/weigh ins start at 9am.

Fights start promptly at 10am.

Plans to go to around 4pm give or take depending on how many bots are signed up. However since we will be running both arenas at the same time, the event may end sooner.

On Cheyenne Dr you will see a giant tree laying down by the road, turn left into that driveway.  Proceed up the driveway. Cars please park to the right in the gravel. Trucks and larger suvs, please park in the grass straight ahead. This way it is easy for all cars to maneuver.  Thank you!

No public spectators are permitted as this is a private event. Competitors and your teamates only please. Your family and friends are of course allowed to come as well. 

FIRE SAFTEY: 

We have fire extinguishers on site. 

Sand buckets for lipo breaches.

Single pass air evacuation for each arena.

The building also has an air evacuation system incase of lipo breach in the pits.

In the event of a building fire the large 12ft wide rollup doors are the emergency exits. They are unlocked at all times on event day, just lift and exit in a calm safe manner.
