St. Valentine's Day Massacre - Utah Combat Robotics Event

Come join fellow robot combat enthusiasts at Utah Combat Robotics for a thrilling event!

This competition features:

• 150g Fairyweight
• 1lb Plastic Antweight
• Full Combat Ants
• 3lb Beetleweight

Rules & Registration

• All Plastic Antweights must comply with the “16.3 Plastic Class” requirements in the SPARC Ruleset. Full details can be found here: SPARC Robot Construction Specifications v1.5.
• $25 registration fee per bot to help support our events. Please pay your registration on RCE.

Event Details

• Date: February 15th, 2025
• Location: Make Salt Lake, 663 W 100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84104
• Time:
  • Setup begins at 7:30 AM
  • Fights are scheduled to start before 10:00 AM
  • Finals expected to begin around 7:00 PM

Spectators

There is no fee for spectators, so bring your friends, family, and anyone interested in robot combat to cheer you on!

Tournament Format

• Double-elimination bracket style tournament.
• TWO arenas to keep the event moving efficiently:
  • An 8-foot arena for 3lb Beetleweights.
  • A 4-foot arena for 150g Fairyweights, 1lb Plastic Ants, and Full Combat Ants may have to fight in the 8x8 but will keep you updated
  • Wood floors for both arenas.

New Additions

• Final Rumble: The final rumble will feature a cash prize, encouraging participants and spectators to stay and support until the end.
