Welcome to the inaugural Widener Robot Rumble hosted by Widener Robotics Club! A special thanks to everyone who helped make this possible!

University Center Atrium (ground floor)
Arena:
8’ x 8’ x 2’ tall, wooden floors (Green arena that has appeared at some GSCRL events in the past)
Competition Details:
This event will be following the standard GSCRL rules and regulations
Fights will be 2 minutes, 30 seconds
Registration fee is $25 per bot, collected in person at the event (preferably cash, alternatively Venmo)
We will accept 30 bots total, across both weight classes, if one does not fill we may take more in another.
Unsticks: 1 Unstick per robot per Match
Disentanglements between bots: First occurence will not count against either bot, if occurs more than once the match end, and go to the judges.
Parking:
All vehicles should park in the lot across from the Kapelski Learning Center, found here.There will be signage to help direct you to the University Center.
Please print out this Parking Pass and leave it on your dashboard if you park in a campus lot. We will also have extra copies available just in case.
Check the Widener Interactive Map to find a place to park, we reccommend either the Kapelski Lot or the 13th Street Lot, as both usually have spots available on weekends. Street parking may also be available on Walnut Street, and does not require a parking permit.

Pits and Tables:
The pits will be in the University Center. Each team will have table space and chairs, but if you are planning on bringing more than 2 team members then please bring your own chairs.
Power access will be limited! There will be dedicated charging/soldering tables, it is recommended to bring your own power strips. All batteries MUST be charged in a LiPo bag or LiPo safe.
Food Options:
An Auntie Anne’s, Moe’s Southwest Grill, and Starbucks in the building, CARD ONLY, and only open after 11am.
Widener Pride Cafe - Cash or Card accepted.
Standard fast-food places including Mcdonalds, Wawa, Taco Bell, etc within 10 minutes.
Snacks & Drinks will also be sold in support of the Widener Robotics club.

Function Checks:
Outside the test box, all wheels must be up, and weapons must be locked. Weapon testing must be done in the safety box, or the arena if available.
Power On Procedures: The correct order is:
Turn on the transmitter.
Power on the robot.
Remove the weapon lock.
Power Off Procedures: The correct order is:
Enable the weapon lock.
Power off the robot.
Turn off the transmitter.
