Firefights: NRL Southeastern Regional Championship

Firefights: NRL Southeastern Regional Championship is a 15lb robot fighting competition held at Florida Polytechnic University for students middle school through college only. This event will be part of the National Robotics League. Competitors from this event will be chosen to move on to the Nationals event. Teams in the region can only move onto the National event if they attend this event. We follow all the NRL guidelines found at gonrl.org NO ACCEPTIONS!!(LED power indicator, no lipo’s, and mounted switches not links) Also the event will include an interview portion to insure that the robots we’re built solely by the students competing. All bots registered require a minimum of three school team members and one adult coach. All teams must also register on the goNRL.org website to be eligible to compete.

Time: 9am-6pm

Weigh in, interviews, and safety: 9-11

Opening Ceremony: 11-12

Fights: 12-5:30

Awards Ceremony: 5:30-6

 

Parking: $5 at the Parking Kiosk Cash or Card

Food: Will be provided for paying competitors.

Tables will be provided as well as extension chords. All charging, hammering, and grinding must be done in a near by designated area. Chairs will not be provided so bring your own if you wish.
