Bot Oblivion 2025 at Gem State Gaming Convention

Idaho Robot Combat League is hosting "Bot Oblivion" in partnership with Gem State Gaming Convention on Saturday July 19th, 2025.

Registration fee is $25 per bot which supports the cost of our event and helps us make more outreach and events in the future.

Registration also includes team passes for the event, and offering heavily discounted event passes for family and friends of the competitors to be able to access the rest of the Gem State Gaming Convention with many games and activities.

We will be using the SPARC rules for robot construction. http://sparc.tools/

• Beetles and FC-Ants must follow the general construction guidelines. 
• Plastic Ants must follow the conditions set out in Section 4.4 as well. 

We will have one 8x8' Beetle arena, and at least one 4x4' arena for Pl-Ants and FC-Ants. matches. 

Pit tables will be provided but competitors are encouraged to bring their own as well. This event will run all day inside the larger convention.

While the competition is on Saturday, We will have our space for the duration of the event, so feel free to visit Sunday when we will be giving demonstrations, promoting the league, and having fun in general at the convention. 

The event will be located in the south entrance, near the main tables. Check-In will begin Saturday at 9am. Competitors are asked to please arrive no later than 930am Saturday for safety check and builder meeting, we will be starting matches by 10am. 

Registration begins 4/11/2025 through 7/15/2025, spots are first come first serve, there will be a waitlist if necessary.
