EPO Turkey Tussle 2025

The EPO Turkey Tussle 2025 event will take place on November 8, 2025 and will include 150g, 1lb, and 3lb weight classes.

General Competition Information

Location:

Parking: Street Parking along Lipan Road.

Robot Requirements:  

Robots must meet the SPARC Robot Construction Specifications. Weapon locks and sharp edge covers must be used while the bot is outside of the arena.

Registration Fees:

To be paid at check in and upon passing inspection, via Paypal, Zelle or cash.

The Registration fees are:

  • 150g classes - $10
  • 1lb/3lb classes - $20

Arena(s):

Competitors will be competing in the following arenas: 

  • 150g Arena at 4 ft x 3.2 ft
  • 150g Arena at 4 ft x 4 ft (nondestructive class - pits open during match)
  • 1lb/3lb Arena at 6 ft x 6 ft  
  • 3lb Arena at 8 ft x 8 ft (If we have more than 60 Competitors across all 1lb/3lb classes)

Match Order:

Matches will occur in the designated arena.  The arenas will be rotated between to give teams the maximum possible time to repair or modify their robots.  Please check your brackets to see when your next fight is coming up. 

Check-in: 

  • Check-in / Inspection starts at 9:00 AM and closes at 11AM. 
  • Final Inspections must occur before 11AM, and all inspections cease at 11AM. 

To check in your robot to the competition, you must pass the following checklist: 

  • Demonstrated a safe activation, failsafe, and deactivation system with your Robot
  • Demonstrate your robot can drive forward, backwards, left and right successfully 
  • Demonstrate that your robot can successfully failsafe its drive(and weapon, if applicable) system(s)
  • Show that your robot is equipped with a weapon safety, such as a locking pin, safety clip, or other safety device.  
  • Pay the required registration dues for the event and for your robot. 
  • Sign the Release Form and Waiver. 

NOTE: Innovation Spark captures Waivers Electronically and are valid for 1 year. We will send out an email either confirming or requesting you sign a new waiver 1 week prior to the event. 

After Check-in, You can find a spot in the parking lot to setup your station, please bring your own tables / tent for the event, and be cognizant of the other teams. Ideally we suggest you share space with them, as space it typically limited. 

Schedule: 

This schedule is subject to change based on weather, check in, and number of bots registered. 

  • 9:00 AM - Check-in/Inspections/Safety Begins
  • 10:30 AM - Last call for all competitors to Check-In For Inspection Checklist, see section Check In
  • 11:00 AM - Last call for all competitors to pass inspection. 
  • 11:15 AM - 1st Set of Matches Information will be announced. 
  • 1:00 PM - 30 minute Break for Lunch
  • 1:30 PM - 2nd Set of Matches 
  • 6:00 PM - Matches End, Awards Presented

Power: EPO provides us with a Shared Power area for charging batteries and equipment use. Ideally you should use your own Remote Power as much as possible, due to limitations on the Power consumption of the circuits. Please share the power, as it is provided for the community.
