Setup Begins:ย Somewhere between noon and 2 pm friday and 7:00 AM Saturday
Matches Begin: Before 9:30 AM Saturday
Finals Start: Around 7:00 PM Saturday
Free Admission! Bring your friends, family, and anyone curious about robot fighting. No ticket needed โ just show up and enjoy the chaos!
Weโll be running three arenas to keep the fights moving all day:
๐น 8' Beetleweight Arena (Wood Floor)
Features a drop pit that activates in the final 60 seconds
Only drops if no spinning weapons are active during that final minute
๐น 4' Fairyweight Arena (Wood Floor)
Equipped with the infamous Toblerones of Doom corner hazards
In the final 60 seconds, the Toblerones act as pits โ get stuck and fail to escape in 10 seconds, and itโs a KO
๐น Plastic & Full Combat Arenas
Standard layouts with no corner hazards
6 ft hex arena
Double-Elimination Bracket
One-and-Done Final Round
Strict 20-Minute Rebuild Timer โ If your 20 minutes are up and you're not ready when called, you forfeit the match.
Damage (5 pts): Real, lasting impact (not cosmetic)
Control (3 pts): Dominating movement, positioning, and use of the arena
Aggression (3 pts): Who pushed the fight? Running = losing aggression
Any grip-enhancing materials (latex, rubber, silicone, etc.) are allowed
But if they cause entanglement (e.g., wrap around drive or weapon systems), you will be disqualified
Incidental part loss does not count as entanglement unless intentionally designed to do so
Unsticks allowed only if both robots are stuck together
If stuck on arena features (walls, floor, hazard), you have 10 seconds to move or itโs a KO
In the Fairy arena, the Toblerones count as pits during the final minute
In the Beetle arena, the drop pit only activates in the final minute and only if no spinners are active
Slamming into the walls or arena to free yourself is not allowed โ doing so counts as a tap-out and ends the match in a loss
