MORE BIG Bots!

Registration is open for WARs 2nd big-bot event of 2026!

This event is in partnership with the Seattle Robotics Association and will include many non-combat robot competitions and demonstrations. See below for details and how to register for the non-combat robot events.

Robot Combat

We will be doing 3lb 12lb, and 30lb sportsman at this event.  We had 11 non-insect robots at the last event in this location, we need to get at least that number for this event to make the continuation of those weight-classes worth the effort to set things up. Setting up the big arena is a HUGE effort, so build something and keep the non-insect classes alive in the PNW. We are going to bring back the past and have the 3lb bots fight in the big arena.

Schedule: Show up at 10am for Safety.  Brackets will be locked at 11am and we will start the matches!

Event Fomrat: We will be running our standard modified double elimination tournaments.  If we get high turnout, we may do a modified swiss format. This lets us get through things more quickly, but guarentees everyone multiple matches.

Donation - Bot Fee:  This venue isn't free so please make the $25 per robot donation for this event. Even if everyone pays, we will be in the hole for this event so help us keep our defecit small!

Parking: There is some free parking in the neighborhood if you get lucky but there is a pay parking lot right outside the doors of the venue and another just south across the street.

Food and Drink:  There are many shops and restaruants close to the venue so stepping out get something should be easy.  If there is interest, we may get together for Pizza after the event.
