Maker 13's River City Rumble

We will be hosting a MRCA qualifying combat robot competition at Maker 13 in Jeffersonville, IN. The event will include 1 lb (plastic antweight) 1 lb (antweight) and 3 lb (beetleweight) competitions on Saturday August 1st, 2026.

Tournament Format: 3 round Modified Swiss, bots with 2-1 or better records will progress to a single elimination bracket to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 16 plastic antweight (1 lb), 24 antweights (1 lb) and 24 beetleweight (3 lb) bots.

Date: Competition will take place on August 1, 2026, There will be a social meet and greet event Friday July 31st at 5PM.

Location: Maker 13, 629 Michigan Ave, Jeffersonville, IN 47130

Venue: Has plenty of space for pits (tables & chairs are provided). There will also be a spectator area and a couple of TVs to view the fights.

Rough Schedule:

• 8:00am – Doors Open & Safety Opens
• 10:00am – Doors Open for Spectators and fights begin
• 5:00pm - Single Elimination Starts

Entry Fee: $20 per plastic ant, $30 per antweight and $30 per beetleweight entry.

Ruleset: This event will follow MRCA rules for ranked ant and beetle classes.  SPARC v1.6 rules will be used for plastic antweights.

Spectators:  There is no entry fee for spectators, doors open at 10am on Saturday.
