Clash at Wintonbury #1

Utter Stupidity Robotics is proud to present Clash at Wintonbury #1!

 

Full combat antweight tournament, cap of 24 bots. 1 bot per builder please.

 

4x4x2 arena with lexan walls. 

$20 registration fee paid up front, the deadline is June 8th.

 

Venue: Wintonbury Church, 54 Maple Ave Bloomfield CT 06002

 

We will be having our pit in the downstairs area of the church by the parking lot while the arena will be either in the center of the room, or just outdoors, weather permitting.

 

Tentative schedule:

 

8AM competitors arrive

8:20AM safety opens

9:20AM safety closes

9:40AM drivers meeting

10AM fights start

12PM lunch break

12:30PM fights resume

6PM event ends/awards ceremony

 

Format will be double elimination, 2 ½ minute rounds. Random seeding/bracket.

 

Lunch will be provided.

 

SPARC ruleset, multibots may weigh 1.25lbs total and non-traditional locomotion bots can weigh 1.5lbs.

 

Any battery exposure during a fight will result in an automatic KO with the robot with the exposed battery losing.
