• Plastic Antweight: 20 bots
• Antweight: 16 bots
• Beetleweight: 24 bots

EVENT SCHEDULE

8:00 AM — Doors & Pits Open / Load-In Begins
8:30 AM — Registration Begins
8:35 AM — Safety Check Opens
9:30 AM — Loading Doors Close
10:00 AM — Drivers Meeting
10:15 AM — Fights Begin
11:30 AM – 12:45 PM — Lunch Break if applicable 
5:30 PM — Event Ends
8:00 PM — Building Must Be Vacated

FORMAT

• 3-Round Modified Swiss - top 8 move to single elimination. Challonge will count W/L first,  then points, then bye time if applicable. Meeting these three criteria will ensure that 8th place is not tied with 9th place or higher 
• 2-minute matches may be used depending on the number of entries
• MRCA ruleset
• Standard 5-6-6 judging criteria for aggression, control, and damage
• No weight bonuses for shufflers or other novel-motion bots
• Two arenas
• Tables and chairs will be provided

Bracket links will be posted before the event, but matches will not be finalized until the appropriate time on event day.

Driver limitation: Each driver may have only one bot per class and may compete in a maximum of two classes. If you are the only person on your team capable of making repairs, we strongly encourage you to bring only one bot.

REPAIR TIME

Bots will have 20 minutes between fights for repairs. This time applies per bot, not per competitor. If you bring multiple bots, repair time may be used while you are competing with another bot.

Each bot will also be granted one 10-minute extension.

Each bot is allowed one unstick per match. We cannot guarantee that a bot will not become stuck in the arena, so please keep this in mind when designing forks and other ground-engaging parts.

SAFETY

Safety remains the #1 priority at our events.

• Eye protection is required in the pits and near the arenas.
• Batteries must be charged at the communal charging station and placed in an appropriate LiPo bag while charging.
• A designated power-tools area will be available for drills, Dremels, soldering irons, etc.
• Proper PPE is required when operating tools.
• If a battery becomes exposed or is outside the robot during a match, the fight will immediately end in a TKO.
• No heat, fire, smoke, entanglement, or other weapons that do not fit within the spirit of the rules.

Cut-off switch: The cut-off switch rule will not be enforced for this event. This may change for future events, so please continue to follow our Facebook and Discord for updates.

PLASTIC ANTWEIGHT

Approved materials include:

• 3D-printed PET
• PETG
• ABS
• PLA
• PLA+

Sheet ABS and CNC-machined parts are not permitted.

If you have questions about a specific material or design, please contact the EO before the event.

LIVE STREAM

We will make every effort to live-stream all matches on the SEMO Combat Robotics YouTube channel. This is dependent on the internet connection available at the venue. If live streaming is not possible, we will make every effort to post the matches afterward.
