REGISTRATION WINDOWS

Just like last year, the first 16 slots for this competition are initially reserved for Youth. To qualify, youth teams must have at least one member who is 17 or younger. The youth member may serve any role on the team.

Youth:   April 4 – April 18

[At least one team member must be 17 or younger]

General: April 18 – May 15

[Open to participants of all ages]

There is a registration fee of $40. Payment will not be due at the time of application. Once your application is accepted, you will receive an invoice. Payment must be received in advance of the battle.

ABOUT MAKER BATTLE

Maker Battle is a remote-controlled robot combat tournament where 32 competitors battle it out in a double-elimination format. Rounds last up to 2 minutes – or until one robot is disabled. Whether you are a seasoned builder or competing for the first time, this is your chance to put your engineering skills to the test in front of a live crowd.

The event is hosted by MakerspaceCT, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of makers, engineers, and innovators in Connecticut and beyond.
