Get ready for sparks, smashes, and high-speed mayhem! We're bringing a full robot combat experience to Open Sauce, featuring multiple weight classes, head-to-head battles, and the fast-paced fun of Bot Hockey — all in one action-packed event!
 

Huge thank you to Palm Beach Bots for covering the ENTIRE cost of the 30lb arena, and to Repeat Robotics for covering prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in our 3lb competition.

🏟️ Arenas Fights will be held in the Palm Beach Bots 30lb arena and the Bot Hockey League arenas.

Event Information
 

1. HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AS AN EXHIBITOR OF OPEN SAUCE - We will NOT have separate pits or passes if you’re not a part of a Battlebots Team or Bot Hockey Team, and must have your own area if you do not fall into one of those two categories. This problem was caused because we weren’t going to have combat originally but we all love robot combat, so we’re doing our best to squeeze it in!!

 

1. Are willing to keep an eye on the bracket yourself, and give our safety team a current phone number to text you when your fight is coming up - because we do not have a dedicated pit space for combat contestants, we are anticipating a lot of difficulty having people ready for their fights. We will do our BEST to get a hold of you when it’s your turn to fight, but you MUST keep on top of it yourself as well. Our team will be texting everyone 10 minutes before their fight, and if you don’t show up in the correct time frame, we will have to move on.

8:30am - Doors for exhibitors open

9am - 6pm - Industry People
6:30pm-7:30pm Party

Saturday 07/18/2026 - Main Event

8am - Doors for exhibitors open

9am - 6pm General Public 

 

Sunday 07/19/2026 - Main Event & Teardown

8:30am - Doors for Exhibitors Open
9am - 6pm - General Public

6pm - 8:30pm Full Teardown
 

The arena ALL combat robotics weight classes will be fighting in is the 12’ x 12’, steel floored, Palm Beach Bots Arena.

All bot hockey will be in our standard Bot Hockey League arena. 

If you are not competing with Bot Hockey, please be aware that we WILL NOT be able to monitor your pit safety, so you guys need to be on top of  it yourself. I HIGHLY recommend bringing your own sand bucket! Never leave your batteries charging unattended.
