Random event info: 4'x4' boxes with pits (same boxes as the twin city terror). we will be running 2 minute matches, the pit will open 1 minute into the match. We will be using the MRCA official rules for fights, building, and judging. All rules can be found on the MRCA website. Spectators are welcome so if you know anyone who would be interested in robot combat, tell them to swing by for a bit! We might be trying a new 2v2 format for the fairy weight class, but that is still being decided.
The Minnesota Massacre is an MRCA official event! The MRCA is a Robot Combat league in the midwest for 1lb robots. This is one of the official qualifiying events for the league. For more information on the MRCA, please visit MRCA (midwestrobotcombat.com).
We would like to thank our sponsors ItGresa, for supplying us with prizes for our top finishers, and The Battleground Cafe, for donating their space to be the venue for the event, They have helped us out a ton and the event would not be possible without them! ItGresa is website where you can buy various parts for Robot combat builds. They sell all kinds of Kits and parts from diffrent names and brands. Check them out before the event to get some spares, or afterwords to get started on repairs! Buy Combat robotics kits and parts! Fingertech, Robot Power, and more! (itgresa.com)
The Battleground Cafe will be our venue, and we think it will be an amazing space for our event. They will be serving food and drinks for us throughout the day so you won't have to go far at all to get something to eat! The Battleground Cafe
Also we would like to give a big thanks to Scott and Alex Sofficool for letting us use their arenas AT NO COST. If you see them at the event please give them a massive thanks as the event would have become a lot more expensive without them! :)
Tentative shedule:
Doors open at 10:00 AM- We would love for everyone to arive at or slightly before ten so we can set up and get going with fights ASAP.
Fights start at 12:00- We can start slightly earlier or later if needed, but this is what we think is a realistic starting time for fights.
Fights end at 6:00- We think we might have to end a little later, but this is the time we are shooting for.
Awards and cleanup-6:15- Feel free to hang around to help with cleaning up, it means a lot to us if you do!
