Details

Check-ins will start at 9AM, tournament will start at 10:30.
University pits are in room 1311, regular team pits are in room 1350. Tables and chairs will be available, but no tools, and limited power outlets, so bring extensions, power strips, etc.
Spectator room is in room 1453(Georgia Power Auditorium)
Our tournament will be a standard double elimination bracket for all three weight classes
Matches are 2 minutes 30 seconds long, judged using the SPARC ruleset
Parking is free outside the Driftmier Engineering Center
Loading and unloading for tools and bots will be easiest on the side entrances of the building, as the university pits are located on the left side and the standard pits are located to the right. Signs will be posted for competitors, and maps of the buildings placed at the tables.
Registration
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Registration is $10, paid in cash the day of the event(UGA student orgs have strange rules about bank accounts, so we need cash unfortunately, and can't register ahead, we will be looking to change this in future years)
As of now, our online registration is closed.
Arena
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The arena is an 8'x8' arena with smoke suppression, wood floors, and no pits or hazards.
Spectating
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Spectators will have plenty of seating available in our auditorium. Because our smoke suppression pumps smoke outside, our ducting is not able to reach our auditorium, so the arena itself will not be in the spectator area, but we will have our commentators and streams there, as well as the twitch stream available in both of our pit rooms for our competitors to watch
Robot Specs
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We require bots to use the sparc requirements. We will not be requiring a powered on light, but would like the power-on sequence to be rather quick. We will not measure rpms for weapons, but do need spin down times to be under a minute.
We do not allow flamethrowers for this event, due to administration concerns
We are going to allow at least 20 minutes between each event for bots to repair, since th efights will get closer togetehr as the tournament goes on. If more time is needed, please work with out volunteers to allow for this, but if your team takes too long or takes too many delays, you may be forced to forfeit a match.
