NorCal Robotics Expo 2026!

It's back! The LARGEST combat robot competition in Northern California is back for another year of action and mayhem!

Come compete against the best builders in Northern California and check out the rest of the cool things that we'll have to offer!

Competition Details:

	Combat:	Bot Hockey
Rules:	SPARC Ruleset Enforced	Bot Hockey Ruleset enforced
Arena:	Ants & Beetles will be fighting in the 6'x6' arena courtesy of Placer Robotics! Plastic Ants will be fighting in Sierra College's 4'x4' Ant arena. Steel floors in both.	12'x24' Bot Hockey Arena
Format:	Two-Stage Swiss	TBA

- Tables & Chairs Will be Provided

 

PAYMENT:

NEW: PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF REGISTRATION. If you do not pay your registration fee you WILL BE MOVED TO THE WAITLIST. If you need to withdraw from the event for any reason we will refund the registration fee at any point up to before the week of the event (Nov 15th is the final day for refunds).

Registration is $20 per robot in combat; $50 per team in Bot Hockey. All proceeds go towards volunteers and event production. Payment can be made through Venmo or Zelle. When paying please specify Team and Robot name in the note/memo.

SCHEDULE:

We will likely be running optional early safety on Friday again schedule TBD.

Saturday schedule is as follows:

- 8:00am: Doors Open for Builders

- 8:30am: Check In and Safety Begins

- 9:00am: Doors Open for General Public

- 9:30am: Fights Begin!

- 12:30pm: Lunch Break

- 1:00pm: Fights Resume

- 5:00pm: Awards and Closing
