Mechanical Mayhem Fall opens the GSCRL 2026-27 season. Two days of combat robotics at Sussex County Maker Fest, with four classes across Saturday and Sunday.

Categories & Competition Details

This is a two-day tournament. Each class competes on one day only.

Rules & Safety

• Tournament follows SPARC rules (https://sparc.tools/)
• Specific league rules will be posted when finalized
• Weapons must have safety locks
• Proper LiPo battery management required

• Format: double elimination with sudden death — the grand final is decided by a single match rather than requiring two consecutive wins
• Fairyweight runs as a round robin

Attendance & Registration

• Sussex County Maker Fest is free to attend, with activities for all ages
• Alongside the robot combat tournament, the Fest features hands-on maker activities, talks and demonstrations, and Ideal Farm's fall activities including hayrides and pumpkin picking
• Do not attend if you are feeling ill

Lodging

Competing both days or traveling from out of the area? You have two options:

• Camping on site. Limited camping is available at Ideal Farm & Garden Center by arrangement. Email rick@fubarlabs.org ahead of the event to request a spot.
• Local hotels. There are a number of hotels within a short drive of Lafayette.
