Welcome to End of Summer Smash, hosted by Rose City Bot Brigade. This community event brings together competitors and spectators for a full day of robot combat in Portland, with builders of all skill levels welcome to participate, watch, and learn.

Class capacity may be adjusted as needed based on demand.

Format And Rules

This event will use a modified double elimination format, with a round robin fallback if attendance is low. Matches will follow the governing event ruleset, with any class-specific exceptions published in the event listing.

Arena And Safety

Arena details and hazard information will be shared closer to the event, and the venue will be arranged with participant safety in mind.

All robots must pass a safety check before entering the arena, including a weight check, failsafe demonstration, and a controlled movement test.

Batteries must be handled and charged safely, with charging kept in the designated LiPo-safe area and battery storage expectations followed throughout the day.

Venue:  PSU Business Accelerator 2130 SW 5th Ave, Portland, OR 97201.

Parking, check-in route, and pit setup expectations will be shared closer to the event. Please plan to bring your robot, tools, spare parts, batteries, charger, and any required safety gear.
