Fiasco was originally designed sometime in 2006 by Team Velocity. It was retired by Team Velocity in 2009 after going 0-3 at it's last event. I purchased it from Kevin Barker in 2011 and made some major improvements to it's hitting power. However, it was plagued with reliablity issues having never been designed to deliver so many joules on impact. It become somewhat of "one hit wonder", ending fights in a single hit, but usually breaking itself too. This iteration of Fiasco won it's first ever event in 2011, going undefeated and de-crowning one of best robots at the time, Surgical Strike, and getting revenge for the defeat that happened 4 years earlier at RoboGames.

 

I eventually retired Fiasco in 2013.
