Glorified Roomba is a shell spinner designed around an electroplated 3D printed shell. The design of this robot allows for the shell act as a weapon as well as armor. Along with this, the spike on the top of the robot allows the bot to easily flip itself if it were to be flipped. For its drivetrain the bot uses a 4 wheel belt drive system to allow easy controls. Furthermore, through the use of a direct drive weapon system using Just 'Cuz Robotics' new JCR-4935 1000kV Battle Hardened Brushless Motor, the shell is interchangeable, allowing each of our team members to design their own shell to test for the project! The flip mechanism is also easily interchangeable. The shell is also designed with impact inserts to yield high damage to opponents. The goal of Glorified Roomba is to stay alive, run for it's life and allow the enemy to destroy itself.
