InnerSpace Brewing Taproom Tap Out #9! | 7 | 0 |
Flash Memory has been modded quite heavily. The most major change is that it's now convertible. More about that later. The original design used 90:1 "TT" motors for drive and an Arduino microcontroller as a receiver. That bit hasn't changed as it did fantastically well during the bot's first event. What I kept running into were structural problems. So the new design uses an ABS floor and weapon and a super-lightweight chassis. It's most interesting trait is that, with the change of a few parts, it can be converted into a dustpan-style control bot. Simply reprogram the Arduino, replace the lid, replace the floor, detach the weapon, plonk the brushless motor in the electronics box, and flip the chassis over. EDIT - This is an edit as of June. I'm no longer using CNCed ABS parts and instead 100% solid printed PETG and PLA parts.
This robot is retired.
