The new and improved version of first bot! Serrano is a wide, 2 wheel drive undercutter with a carbon fiber unibody frame.
- Version 1 had a TPU unibody, exposed wheels, and big forks. It went 0-2 at RSL Iowa '25 due to poor servicability and the cheap TPU being too brittle.
- Version 2 was a redesign of the same concept as V1. It featured a larger, pepper-shaped blade and a more durable frame at the cost of smaller forks. It was too heavy and never competed.
- Jalapeño was a rushed attempt to repurpose Serrano's weapon as an offset midcutter with a carbon fiber sandwich construction. The pepper blade was still too heavy so it fought with Serrano V1's weapon. However, it proved to be destructive and durable by getting a KO in its only fight at Bots, Brews, and BBQ September '25.
- Version 3 went all in on carbon fiber in a last ditch attempt to wield the pepper blade. The unibody frame, made as a wet lay-up, acted as both structure and armor. Combined with the weight saved by integrating collets into the wheels and removing the forks, it came in over 20g underweight. V3 performed very well, going 2-2 at SEMO Winter Wars '25. While the frame proved durable, both of its losses were to midcutters which were able to breech the front armor and stop the weapon.
